Biography
Noah Turner is an assistant professor of criminal justice in the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IU Indianapolis. His research applies criminological theory to understand various forms of extremist crime and violence, with the goal of producing actionable policy implications that address pressing issues in criminal justice and homeland security.
Noah specializes in open-source data collection and analysis and managed the development of multiple federally funded open-source databases. He has also supported funded research projects focused on managing the reintegration of incarcerated extremists following periods of incarceration and evaluating counterterrorism programming in the United States.
